I am a historical writer with a passion for mystery, and humour!

When I'm not soaking up the Queensland sun with my two young sons, I can be found eavesdropping on conversation in cafes and making up entire backstories (and murderous intents) for unsuspecting bystanders. 

When I grow up I'd like to be Miss Marple.

My work has won numerous competitions - Orange County Rose, LERA's The Writer, RWNZ First pages, and longlisted for the Richell Prize for Emerging Writers and won me a fellowship at Varuna Writers house and was shortlisted for The Next Chapter mentorship at The Wheeler Centre.
